Doncaster Spanish Society will be meeting on Friday 20th January for an illustrated talk by member Jean Clark on ‘Guernica’. It will focus on the aerial bombing of the Basque town of Guernica in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War and will be in Spanish and English. The talk was originally scheduled for October but was postponed.
The meeting is from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Doncaster Town Fields Sports Club, Bennetthorpe, DN2 6AA (opposite the Earl of Doncaster). Parking is available on site. Drinks can be purchased at the bar and the Society will provide snacks.
