They’re back! Classes in Tickhill Parish Room are now back to ‘normal’ (whatever normal is these days), now that the long summer break has been enjoyed — and mostly it was hot weather all round. However, things should cool off now for the newly returned classes and regular events booked in the Parish Room.
They start the week on Mondays with the Ukulele Group from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. All levels are welcome. Tuesday is Spanish for Kids — for children between 18 months and seven years old. Classes start at 11.30am and run through the afternoon until 5.20pm, followed by Yoga on Tuesday evenings from 7.15pm.
Wednesday (first of the month) is WI at 2.00pm and Francophiles from 7.30pm. On the third and fourth Wednesdays of the month the Film Society meet at 7.00pm. For information about joining this group contact Janice (treasurer) on 07590 455340. Sounds Phonics with Jenny Ward on Wednesdays, encourages young children to learn to read. These classes are very popular, contact Jenny on jenny-ward@live.co.uk to book your place.
The third Thursday of the month is when Coffee Stop invite you to a free coffee with homemade cake — all are welcome, from babies (accompanied of course) to any of our older friends and residents. Coffee is served from 10.00am. Every Saturday the Parish Room is open for coffee from 10.00am to 12.00pm, join us for a chat and a delicious filter coffee.
