Bramley Remembrance Service

by | 2 November 2025 | Community Event, Local Experiences, Remembrance, Rotherham

The Service of Remembrance in Bramley on Sunday 9th November will offer residents the opportunity to pay their respects to the men and women of Bramley who served in both world wars and other conflicts. It will also be a time to give thanks to the many service personnel who have helped to keep the country safe over the years.

A service will be held in St Francis Church at 10.00am, conducted by Rev Helen Terry and Rev James Gould. This will be followed at 10.45am by a parade to the War Memorial, led by Bramley Brass Band, during which the names of the war dead will be read aloud. Wreaths will be laid by civic leaders and representatives from village groups.

Everyone is welcome to join in the church after the service for light refreshments.
