Whiston Parish Church: Children and families groups

Little Fishes: The baby and toddler group have ended the term with a special water play session at Whiston Parish Church.

They said goodbye to some children who were leaving Little Fishes to start ‘big’ school in September.

Starfish Gang: Members have enjoyed learning about the different stories that Jesus told. One of the stories, The Lost Sheep, included searching for a ‘sheep’ around the outside of church!

YouthZone: The group have enjoyed this term, where they worked together to have a stall at the Whiston Festival. The money raised will go towards new equipment for the group. They ended the term with a ten pin bowling night.

Nourish: They have enjoyed visiting the theatre and had a special Summer Cream Tea and Pimms evening when they thought how we are all a blessing from God. Thank you to everyone who came to join them. They will meet back on 11th September.

The Open the Book Team visited the three primary schools in July telling the Bible story – Feeding the Five Thousand. It was great to also be involved with the Outdoor Service at the Whiston Festival.

The next Refresh@4 All Age Service will take place on Sunday 3rd September at 4.00pm.
