The YCSPL Saturday cricket season is now well underway, with regular fixtures also taking place on Sundays at Whiston Parish Church Cricket Club. The Whiston Parish Belles are competing in both softball and hardball formats this season, and there are junior opportunities available from All Stars and Under 9s through to Under 18s.
The clubhouse is open most afternoons and evenings, and support on match days is greatly appreciated. Club membership is £20.00 per year.
The club is delighted to announce that the new enclosed net practice facility has been completed and will now be used by the cricket club for coaching purposes. Sincere thanks go to everyone involved in the planning and fundraising – this marks the fulfilment of a 20-year aspiration.
