Sunday morning services continue each week at 10.30am at Whiston Methodist Church. The annual Toy Service will take place on Sunday 7th December at 10.30am, with all donated toys going to the Rotherham Toy Appeal, administered by Families First.
The annual Service of Nine Lessons and Carols will be held on Sunday 21st December at 6.00pm.
The Chapel Crafters meet every Tuesday from 12.00pm to 2.00pm and always offer a warm welcome to new members. Attendees are invited to bring their own lunch, with drinks provided. Please note, the group will not meet on Tuesday 23rd or Tuesday 30th December.
Community Coffee Mornings take place every Thursday from 10.00am to 11.30am. On Thursday 18th December, there will be carol singing and mince pies. There will be no coffee morning on Thursday 25th December or Thursday 1st January, with sessions resuming on Thursday 8th January.
There will be no Vintage Messy Church session in December. Dates for the diary include a Winter Warmer Lunch on Saturday 17th January – a much-loved event, so remember to add your name to the list – and the 160th Chapel Anniversary on Saturday 12th April, with further details to follow. Everyone is warmly invited to attend any of the services or activities at Whiston Methodist Church, where a friendly welcome is guaranteed.
