Making a highly anticipated return to the Wesley Centre, Maltby, on Saturday 12th April, is Phil Beer – the multi-instrumental half of the West Country’s award-winning acoustic duo, Show of Hands.
With a professional career spanning over 35 years, Phil Beer has an extensive repertoire for his solo performances. His eclectic setlist includes traditional tunes, covers of artists such as Bruce Springsteen and The Hollies, as well as his own compositions and songs from his contemporaries.
His performances feature songs and music of memory and significance, delivered in his distinctive, melodic style, interwoven with musings and humour. Audiences can expect a selection of past and current favourites from one of the most respected musicians on the acoustic circuit.
