Tenant Voice – local people making a difference

by | 7 May 2023 | Local Charity, Residents Association, Rother

Are you a Rotherham Council tenant or live in a council home?

Would you like to play an active role in plans and decisions that affect you, your home, and your community?

Do you have ideas that you want to put forward but don’t know how?

The Tenant Voice can help you!

Tenant Voice is vital in shaping the experience for tenants both now and in the future. By sharing your views and stories, especially from marginalised and hidden populations, it helps to ensure everyone’s voice is heard as well as contributing to the development of tenant housing practices and policies.

If you are enthusiastic, care about your community, enjoy meeting and chatting to people, and feel that you can help to represent the views of other tenants, the group would love to hear from you. You don’t need any experience, as training, support and development can be given, where needed.

Tenant Voice embraces diversity, inclusion, and creativity in everything it does, so opportunities to get involved are open to all council tenants over the age of 18 years old. Time commitment is flexible too; you can be involved in as little or as much as you like.
