RotherFed presents Multiply

Are you confused when it comes to numbers? If so, you’re not alone! Over 49% of adults feel underconfident when it comes to thinking about maths, but now might just be the time to do something about it.
RotherFed is pleased to announce a series of free ‘Multiply’ sessions starting this autumn.

Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. It is aimed at adults over 19 years old who don’t have a maths qualification – GCSE pass grade (level C / 4 or equivalent).

The sessions will provide people with the opportunity to improve the skills and confidence needed to manage everyday finances, help parents and guardians to support children in their care with their homework, and could lead towards a numeracy qualification.

The short sessions on offer could help you in your use of numbers every day, from working out your household budget to helping the kids with their homework. These will be relaxed, informal, fun, and interactive activity sessions done on a 1-to-1 basis or in small groups.

You can find out more at www.skillsforlife.campaign.gov.uk/courses/multiply and take their short quiz to check your numeracy level too.
