Money Skills for Life

Worried about paying your bills? Finding it hard to make ends meet?

Having problems understanding all the jargon, and looking for help but not sure where to turn?

RotherFed’s new Money Skills for Life sessions, running from April, can help!

This is a free government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. It is aimed at adults over 19 years old who don’t have a maths qualification – GCSE pass grade (level C / 4 or equivalent).

The interactive sessions will:

  • Help you understand how to heat your home for less.
  • Give you tips and ideas on how to save money every week.
  • Identify what you should prioritise.
  • Help you spend more wisely and budget more effectively.

All sessions are relaxed, informal, fun, and done on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. The team will offer additional support for anyone wishing to learn more too.

You can find out more at and take their short quiz to check your numeracy level too.
