For over 40 years, Kazoku Martial Arts has been a pillar of the Rotherham community, transforming lives through martial arts. It has helped countless individuals, especially young people from underprivileged backgrounds, build confidence, discipline, and resilience, producing champions both inside and outside the ring.
Now, an incredible opportunity has arisen – the Kazoku Martial Arts Fight Team has qualified to compete at the WTKA World Games in Tuscany, Italy, in October 2025. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for its athletes to compete on the world stage, test their skills against top international fighters, and inspire the next generation of martial artists.
Why this matters
This competition is about more than just medals – it is about empowerment, opportunity, and community pride. By supporting the team, contributors are:
- Giving young athletes the chance to compete at a world-class level.
- Showcasing positive role models from Rotherham.
Encouraging physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and personal growth. - Helping remove financial barriers for talented individuals from underprivileged areas.
How to help
The cost per competitor is £1,000, covering travel, accommodation, and competition fees. Fundraising efforts so far have included:
- GoFundMe donations
- Car boot sales
- Bag packing at local supermarkets
- Sponsored walks
- Raffles and prize draws
Despite these efforts, additional support is needed to ensure all dedicated athletes get the opportunity they deserve.
