Since 2021 teenager Charlotte Oram has hand crafted cards for the amazing fundraising initiative The Rotherham Toy Appeal, which supports families in need to supply presents for children and young adults at Christmas time.
Last year she raised £600 for the toy appeal and became an official volunteer at the charity that carries out the toy appeal, Families First. And she has big plans for this year.
“My aim for this year is to reach £800 and sell these lovingly-made Christmas cards to local businesses,” she said.
“When a company purchases a package, which will include my new 2025 cards (which are: The Grinch, fa la la llama and mistletoad), they will receive 30 cards per package and festive mince pies! Companies can give the cards to staff or whoever they choose to spread the festive cheer.
“Also, every purchase made by a business will be sponsoring a child / gift to give them the Christmas they deserve.”
