Whiston Youth Club have been successful in their application for Community Leadership Funding. The club was awarded over £700 to buy new equipment to support the youth groups they run from Whiston Parish Hall. SEN sensory equipment, craft materials and a new portable speaker have all been secured through the award.
Jordan Arno, Senior Youth Worker, commented: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all the councillors for this grant funding, it has already had a huge impact on our young people and the resources we have purchased will last us for some time.”
