Nearly 4,000 people are living with dementia across Rotherham Borough, with an increasing reliance on family and friends for support.
With this in mind, Home Instead will be running another of their Rotherham Community Dementia Workshops as part of their commitment to help end social isolation and improve the lives of older people who live in Rotherham, as well as provide vital support to people who are caring for others who are living with dementia.
The Workshops are designed for anyone supporting loved ones or friends with dementia, with the aim of dispelling the myths associated with the condition of dementia and providing important guidance and advice around how to cope with the challenges which occur on a daily basis.
The Dementia Workshop will be on Thursday 21st September, 2.00pm to 4.00pm at St Albans Church Rooms in Wickersley.
