BeaconSY are a local charity that provide support to any unpaid carer who is caring for a family member or loved one in an unpaid capacity.
They are based at Riverside Business Exchange (RBX), Sheffield Road, Rotherham S60 1FL.
All staff at Beacon South Yorkshire have lived experience of a caring role, so from the minute you walk through the door you will be greeted by someone who knows what it is like to care for someone and the impact this can have on your own life.
BeaconSY provides support to unpaid carers through counselling, one to one support, telephone support and holistic / relaxation therapies. They also open their doors for drop-in sessions on Wednesdays between 11.00am and 1.00pm every week. Please feel free to go along to meet with other carers in a welcoming environment.
