The 11th Rotherham Brownie Pack began in 1928 and has welcomed girls aged seven to 10 years since then. They currently have 31 Brownies, six leaders and two young leaders.
So far this year they have enjoyed taking the older girls to York Minster by train to celebrate World Thinking Day with Girlguiding members from North East England. They also visited Jorvik Centre, McDonalds and the Fudge Shop. The Brownies enjoyed a sleepover at Gullivers Valley Theme Park which included inflatables, sleeping on the floor in the indoor play area and spending the day in the theme park. A trip to the pantomime at the Montgomery Theatre in Sheffield by Supertram was greatly enjoyed by all.
Their weekly meetings consist of working towards the Brownie Programme which has six Theme Awards. The activities include Skillbuilders and Unit Meeting Activities. They are currently working towards the Have Adventures Theme Award.
