Sutton Art Group continues to meet in the village hall on Friday mornings and members enjoy producing diverse works of art in various media. This was demonstrated so well when, in September, Gail Stafford led a workshop with poured acrylics… a new experience for most of the group. Under Gail’s excellent tuition, some amazing results were achieved and it was a lot of fun!
Ann Allan’s Chinese brush workshop in October brought a new dimension to members’ work and demonstrated the deceptive simplicity and beauty of Chinese art.
November is the group’s Annual Art Exhibition in the village hall. It will be held on Sunday 16th November, 11.00am to 4.00pm, when over 100 paintings will be on display and available to purchase. This is a great opportunity to acquire an original and reasonably-priced work of art for a special Christmas present which will bring pleasure and last a lifetime.
