Yellow Yorkshire

Join Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) for some yellow-themed fun and help them save lives across Yorkshire with their annual Yellow Yorkshire fundraising day on Friday 2nd July.
Turn Yorkshire Yellow and wear it!
Ask everyone you know to wear something yellow and make a donation. Maybe ask your work colleagues to all wear yellow to the weekly Zoom meeting or to the office for the day! Keep it simple with a yellow item or go all out and go head to toe in yellow!
Turn Yorkshire Yellow and make it!

Knit or sew your own crafts and gifts. Have a competition to make sock puppets or to see who can decorate a home office space or a room in the house the best. Get creative in the kitchen and see who can make the best yellow ice cream or yellow ice lollies or turn your favourite cocktail or mocktail yellow!
Turn Yorkshire Yellow and bake it!
Bake some yellow themed goodies and deliver them to family, friends, neighbours or colleagues for a donation. You could use the charity’s helicopter cookie cutter (available in their online shop) but if you don’t fancy using that you could try making a yellow sponge cake, cakes with yellow icing, yellow cupcakes or even yellow cookies!
Take part in the YAA Yellow Yorkshire Sports Day!
Set up games in your garden, local open recreation space or workplace car park and challenge yourself to hit targets or time.
Do it your way!
The sky is the limit. You don’t have to follow these ideas, you can do anything you like. The more yellow the better.
