After so much time, Worksop Folk Dance Group is glad to be back dancing together again rather than just Zooming at home!
The group still meets on Tuesdays, but has moved to 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Since the Kilton Forest Community Centre is still being used as a vaccination point, the group has moved to the Thievesdale Lane Community Centre, S80 0XS, next to Christchurch. Plenty of car parking is available.
The group performs historical dances, from the 17th century to recently-composed pieces. All the dances are carefully explained and walked through prior to dancing. The music is wonderful, the atmosphere friendly. Refreshments are served half way through; bring your own mug!
