Walking under Trains

by | 8 May 2019 | Gainsborough, Notice

Here is the latest photograph sent to us by Gainsborough Life reader Tom Ellis. It is entitled ‘Walking Underneath Trains’. More of an urban exploration, this bridge connects up to an infamous hill in the town called, ‘Pingle’. The Gainsborough Central rail line is the predominant fixture in all aspects of this bridge, the track is mainly used for cargo but there is a Northern service that goes to Cleethorpes once a week, with more services due. For those persons of a certain height, you find yourself ducking, perhaps all the way through or just at one side.
