On a cold and damp November evening, Vic’s Driving School and his student Lisa drove as lead car in the Gainsborough to Lincoln leg of the BBC Children in Need Big Learner Relay.
Organised by Lou Walsh, the annual event, now in its ninth year, features driving instructors and pupils across the country all getting together to raise money for Children in Need. Driving instructors relay a Pudsey top box from one driving lesson to another around the country, covering more than 3,000 miles. There are over 170 lead driving lessons and many thousands of instructors and pupils joining the convoy.
At the time of going to press, over £15,000 had been raised by all instructors and pupils taking part.
