Join the Hall’s resident ghost enthusiast, Vicky, for an atmospheric tour exploring the building’s ghostly tales and hidden secrets. Advance booking is required.
Saturday 10th October – Have a Go Session: Knitting
10.00am to 2.00pm (last entry 1.30pm)
This free session with the Hall’s craft volunteers is ideal for complete beginners as well as those looking to build their confidence. Experienced knitters will be on hand to offer guidance and support. All materials are provided. Suitable for adults and older children.

Saturday 24th October – Halloween Crafts: Masks and Bunting

A free crafting session for children and families to make their own Halloween masks and bunting. All materials are provided.
Monday 26th October – Halloween Crafts: Pumpkin Conkers and Ghostly Leaves
10.00am to 2.00pm (last entry 1.30pm)
Using nature as inspiration, participants will paint colourful pumpkins on conkers and ghostly figures on autumn leaves. This free drop-in session includes all materials.
Tuesday 27th October – Folk Dancing Workshop with De Mowbray’s Musicke
De Mowbray’s Musicke return with their popular folk dancing workshop. Participants can learn traditional English folk dances in the Assembly Room, a space originally designed for dancing. Normal admission charges apply. Admission is free for English Heritage members.
Friday 30th October – Halloween Crafts: Spider Workshop

Create a spider and its web in this free Halloween craft workshop. All materials are provided.
Saturday 31st October – Halloween Party
Celebrate Halloween at the Hall with spooky games, costume fun and the chance to learn how to cackle like a witch. Visitors are encouraged to come in costume, with prizes awarded for the best outfit and the most convincing cackle.
