September sees the start of the new singing year for Ryton Chorale. After a year of Zoom rehearsals, it will be good to be properly back together again. Rehearsals begin on Monday 6th September. There is an invitation for new singers to join the choir in Holy Family School hall, Netherton Road at 7.30pm. It is a two-hour session with a short break in the middle of the evening. Anyone considering joining the choir will be most welcome to visit and decide if it is for them, which they hope it will be.
The concert is on Saturday 6th November at The Crossing, Newcastle Street, Worksop and will appeal to anyone who might like to try the experience of a Ryton Chorale concert. While not being mandatory at the time of going to press, the wearing of face coverings will be encouraged.
The Chorale now has a new and updated website which can be accessed on www.rytonchorale.org.uk. A new feature on it, is the convenience of being able to book tickets in advance that can be posted or collected at the door on the night. There are full details of all the concerts for the forthcoming 2021-22 season. Tickets are also available from choir members, telesales on 01909 476402 and on the door. The Chorale looks forward to singing to an audience and hopes you will be there.
