Join Voluntary Action Rotherham for a special event in the town centre to celebrate all of Rotherham’s volunteers. Held during the national Volunteers’ Week, it takes place at Rotherham Minster on Tuesday 3rd June from 1.00pm to 3.30pm.
This annual occasion aims to shine a light on the vital work of volunteers across the Borough.
This year they will be encouraging people to ‘Give It A Go’, offering people the chance to try their hand at several fun and creative activities delivered by members, as well as providing information about different volunteering opportunities. As part of the event, they will also be hearing directly from volunteers, hoping their stories inspire more people to get involved and make a difference.
This is an event in partnership with Rotherham Minster and funded by Rotherham Council via the Rotherham Together Partnership. It is free to attend but tickets must be booked at www.varotherham.org.uk/event-details/volunteer-celebration-event-rotherham.
