Prepare to expect the unexpected as Coro Amici, a thrilling mixed choir of 70 voices from West and South Yorkshire, presents a sensational afternoon of classical music in the magnificent Marble Saloon at Wentworth Woodhouse.

They present ‘When Missa Latina Meets Kibitz, a spring serenade on Sunday 10th May.

Led by inspirational Music Director Jane Hobson, and recently back from a choral tour to Budapest, the choir will perform a range of classical works infused with jazz influences. The centrepiece is Missa Latina by Bobbi Fischer – a dazzling fusion of Argentinian tangos, Caribbean rhythms and Latin jazz. Accompanying the choir will be Kibitz, a vibrant five-piece klezmer band from Leeds, who will also perform their own energetic and soulful Eastern European pieces.

The concert starts at 7.00pm and tickets at £30.00 are available on the Wentworth Woodhouse website, https://wentworthwoodhouse.org.uk/whats-on/a-spring-serenade-by-coro-amici/.
