Worksop Society of Artists will be hosting a demonstration at the Worksop Cricket Club on Monday 15th September from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. The artist will be Julian Bray, and his subject will be Portrait Painting in Acrylic. Refreshments will be available during the interval.
If you are interested in joining the society, meetings are held every Monday from 10.00am to 3.00pm. You can drop in at any time during the day to look around and chat with members. The first session is free, giving you a chance to see how the society works. Annual membership is £10.00, with a weekly subscription of just £2.00.
The society offers a varied programme, including professional artist demonstrations most months, workshops by guest artists in the winter, and in-house workshops run by members – so there is something for everyone. New members will be made very welcome.
