Pull on your pyjamas and join the Bassetlaw Hospice Pyjama Walk on Saturday 19th September. Starting and finishing at the Support and Wellbeing Centre on North Road, Retford, the event follows an accessible 2.2-mile route around Retford town centre. It is suitable for families, friends and supporters who want to come together to raise vital funds for local hospice care.
Participants are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the event by wearing their favourite pyjamas or onesies and bringing a much-loved teddy bear for the journey.
Registration opens at 6.00pm, giving walkers time to sign in and visit the Hospice’s special Memory Tree, where participants can leave a personal message in memory of a loved one before the walk begins. The walk sets off at 7.00pm, taking participants on a gentle route through and around Retford town centre before returning to the Support and Wellbeing Centre.
Entry costs £8.00 for adults, £5.00 for children under 16, while children aged under five can take part free of charge. Sponsor forms are also available, and participants are encouraged to raise as much as possible to support Hospice services. For safety reasons, all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the event. Please note that only assistance dogs are permitted on the walk. Everyone completing the Pyjama Walk will receive a medal and be welcomed back with refreshments to celebrate their achievement.

The Musicality Singers will be performing a special music concert on Friday 4th September at 7pm at The Well, Hospital Road, Retford, in support of Bassetlaw Hospice.
