Free family fun will be cooking up a storm in Worksop, as North Notts Food Fest returns to the Old Market Square for a delicious day of culinary celebration.

Organised by North Notts BID, the popular annual event returns to Worksop town centre on Saturday 4th July, from 10.00am to 4.00pm, bringing together celebrity chefs, local food talent, artisan traders and interactive family activities.

Celebrity chef Phil Vickery, best known for his acclaimed television career and long-standing role as resident chef on This Morning, will headline this year’s event with two live cookery demonstrations in the main marquee.

Sally Gillborn MBE, chief executive at North Notts BID, said: “North Notts Food Fest continues to be one of the standout events in the district’s calendar, bringing together fantastic food, local businesses and free family entertainment in the heart of Worksop.

“We’re delighted to welcome Phil Vickery as our celebrity headline chef for 2026. His incredible culinary experience and warm, engaging style make him the perfect addition to what promises to be a tasty day out for visitors of all ages.”

Joining Phil in the main marquee will be festival favourite home economist and cookery demonstrator Teresa Bovey, alongside 2025 MasterChef finalist Claire Syrenne.

The second marquee will shine a spotlight on local culinary talent, with demonstrations from Nicole Mellor of Nicola Olivia Cake Designs, Diana Kaponas of Café Neo and Fusion Energy Café and Peter Whitlam of Vintage Bakery.

Visitors can also enjoy a range of artisan food and drink stalls. Families are well catered for too, with a dedicated children’s activity tent hosting interactive food science experiments throughout the day.
