Love netball but do not fancy the running and jumping anymore? Or perhaps you have never played before and want to try something new? Rotherham u3a Walking Netball is open to everyone.
It is the game people know and love, but played at a walking pace, making it low impact while still offering plenty of energy and fun. The sessions are designed to help people stay active, improve mobility and enjoy friendship, laughter and a good post-match chat. All abilities are welcome, whether participants are former players or complete beginners. Sessions take place at Rotherham Leisure Complex on Mondays from 1.00pm to 2.00pm. The first two taster sessions are free. Anyone wishing to continue playing afterwards can join Rotherham u3a by paying the appropriate membership fee. Participants are encouraged to bring comfortable clothing, trainers and a water bottle.
