Christmas is fast approaching, and the singers of Ryton Chorale are busy rehearsing for their annual Christmas concert. Nowell, Nowell will take place on Monday 15th December at 7.00pm at St Anne’s Church, Newcastle Avenue, Worksop. The evening will feature a performance by a local children’s choir and promises to be a joyful celebration of the festive season.

Tickets cost £10.00 per adult, which includes an after-concert drink and mince pie, while accompanied children under 16 can attend free of charge. Tickets are available from members, by calling 07908 224300, or via http://www.rytonchorale.org.uk.

This year, the choir will also take part in the much-loved Christmas Tree Festival at Worksop Priory from Wednesday 3rd to Sunday 7th December. Visitors are warmly invited to visit and see the Chorale’s tree alongside many others beautifully decorated by local groups.
Rehearsals will recommence in January, and new members in all voice parts are very welcome. There are no auditions, though a short probationary period is offered. The next concert will take place on Friday 28th March at The Crossing, Newcastle Street, and will include Fauré’s Requiem.

The choir extends its warmest wishes for a peaceful and healthy Christmas to all, and offers heartfelt thanks to those who continue to support them. If you would like to join Ryton Chorale, all voice parts are welcome. Further details are available on http://www.rytonchorale.org.uk or by emailing sing@rytonchorale.org.uk.
