Maltby Miners’ Welfare Band is honoured once again to be leading the annual Remembrance Day Parade in Maltby. The parade will leave Walters Road at 10.20am and march to the War Memorial on Blyth Road for the Service of Remembrance on Sunday 9th November. This is always a special event in the band’s calendar, bringing together the British Legion, veterans, schools and many other community groups.
In the afternoon, several members of the band will take part in the Remembrance Service at Dalton Parish Hall, Magna Lane, Rotherham, starting at 3.00pm.
