Parish Communion is at 9.45am most Sundays and Holy Communion is on Wednesdays at 10.30am at St Mary Magdalene, Whiston Parish Church. Refreshments are served afterwards.
On the first Sunday of the month (2nd November) at 4.00pm there will be Refresh @ 4, an informal all-age service with singing, bible stories, creativity and craft followed by refreshments. On Remembrance Sunday (9th November) there will be an All-age Parade Service at 9.45am followed by an Act of Remembrance at the Lychgate. At 6.00pm a Requiem Eucharist, with music from the Armed Man by Karl Jenkins, will sung by the choir.
Starfish Gang, a group for primary-aged children, meets in the church room during term-time at 9.45am. YouthZone, for young people from school years 6 to 13, meet after Refresh@4 and usually also at 6.00pm on the third Sunday of the month. On Saturday 29th November children and young people are invited to an Advent activity session, ‘Superheroes and Angels’. Details are available from Lucy on 07707 863901.
On the first Sunday of Advent, 30th November, there will be an Advent Carol Service, a service of readings and music for Advent. Further dates for the diary are:

- Saturday 20th December, 4.00pm – Outdoor Nativity
- Sunday 21st December, 6.00pm – Nine Lessons and Carols
- Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24th December, 11.30pm – Midnight Mass
- Christmas Day, Thursday 25th December, 10.30am – Christmas Day Family Communion
