The North Notts Ploughing Match Committee will be holding their Autumn Match on Sunday 14th September at Coates, near Cottam, by kind permission of Stephen Howard and Robert Dawson. The location can be found via What3words: bonfires.steered.crops, and the route will be signposted on the day from local villages.
There will be 13 classes, ranging from traditional horse ploughing to modern tractors. Up-to-date entry forms and information can be found on Facebook and the North Notts Ploughing Match website, http://www.nnpm.co.uk.. The public are warmly invited to attend. Car parking is £5.00, or £3.00 for a single occupant. There will be a raffle and a photography competition. Ploughing will begin at 10.00am. Catering will be provided, using locally sourced products and delicious homemade cakes.
