Following a very busy summer season for both bands at Maltby Miners’ Welfare Band, finishing with the Maltby Summer Fair, they decided to take a rest in August and Stanley took it literally!
The Senior Band will be back performing two spots at Rotherham Show on Sunday 7th September and will be joined by the Training Band the following Sunday 14th for their regular Autumn Concert at the Wesley Centre.
Training band rehearsals will resume on Saturday 30th August, 9.45am at the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall in Maltby. New players of any age and ability are very welcome to go along.
