The Wickersley Art Group is a collection of local artists working in oil, watercolour, pastels, pencil, pen and ink, and a variety of other materials.
The group will be holding its annual Art Exhibition at Wickersley Methodist Church Hall, Wickersley, Rotherham, S66 1JJ, next to the library in Wickersley, on Saturday 4th October from 10.00am to 4.00pm and Sunday 5th October from 12.00pm to 3.00pm.
All are welcome with free admission, and light refreshments will be available for a small charge. The art group has a wide range of styles and abilities and was established well over 20 years ago. The group meets every week in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where skills can develop across a range of techniques. They are currently looking for a few new members, and anyone interested is welcome to join.
Visitors are invited to go along and view some of the group’s work. There will also be an opportunity to purchase pictures if desired, or simply enjoy a coffee and a chat.
