Tickhill Parish Room is one of the town’s oldest historic treasures, now serving very modern purposes. The venue is equipped with Wi-Fi, a modern up-to-date kitchen, and ‘9-hour’ chairs designed for extended comfort. The beautiful flooring is ideal for yoga and baby groups, and a projector is available for hire, compatible with personal laptops.

For parties, there are cream and white tablecloths available to hire, a full dinner service for up to 60 guests, and a modern oven. Hire rates are highly competitive, offering excellent value for a variety of events. In short, everything needed for a successful gathering. For more information, call 07840 419763.The Parish Room hosts a wide variety of activities and groups, including yoga, ukulele, WI, baby massage, chair yoga, crafting sessions (including a new festival blanket crochet class), coffee mornings, community lunches, and French and Italian evenings.

Regular visits include the Tradecraft stall and Carol with her handmade crafts, cards and bags – next appearing on Saturday 16th August from 10.00am to 12.00pm. Although it may seem early, now is the perfect time to consider booking the Parish Room for Christmas parties and seasonal celebrations. The next major event will be Late Night Shopping, traditionally held on the last Thursday in November, when the village Christmas lights are switched on – a magical evening for all.

Anyone interested in booking a stall inside or outside the Parish Room is encouraged to do so now, as spaces have sold out for the last five years. Find out more from Janice Birkinshaw on 07840 419763.
