In May, Worksop and District u3a welcomed its very own ‘Singing for Pleasure’ group to the monthly meeting for an afternoon of toe-tapping and sing-along favourites, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.
On Thursday 17th July, the speaker will be popular local author Stephen Booth. Stephen, who has previously visited the group to share insights into his life as a crime writer, is the author of nearly 20 novels set in the Peak District. This time, he will delve into the psychology of crime and reveal how to commit the perfect murder.
The meeting will begin at 1.30pm. Anyone interested in joining the u3a – and discovering how to commit the perfect murder – is warmly invited to go along to Carlton Civic Centre on Long Lane, Carlton-in-Lindrick on Thursday 17th July.
