Worksop Society of Artists will be hosting a demonstration at Worksop Cricket Club on Monday 21st July from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. The artist for the event will be Helen Tucker and the subject is to be announced. Non-members are welcome to attend, with a £4.00 fee on the door. Refreshments will be available during the interval.
Anyone interested in joining the society is welcome to go along at any time during the session to have a look around and chat to members. The group meets every Monday from 10.00am to 3.00pm at the Cricket Club, with an annual subscription of £10.00 and the first session free of charge.
The society will also be holding its Summer Exhibition and sale of work at Sparken Hill Academy, Sparken Hill, Worksop S80 1AW. Preview Night takes place on Friday 1st August from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, and the general public are welcome to attend. The exhibition will then be open daily from Saturday 2nd to Sunday 10th August, from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Entry is free, with ample parking and easy access.
