Police beat surgeries provide an opportunity for the local community to meet their Neighbourhood Policing teams, where you can raise any concerns you may have.
The surgeries are held in local venues within the community, they’re informal and you’ll have the chance to speak to your local team about any issues affecting your area, obtain crime prevention advice and
raise any concerns. There is no requirement to book in advance and you can pop in any time between the stated hours below.

Worksop
- Carlton in Lindrick, Civic Centre: Thursday 17th July, 5.00pm to 7.00pm
- NCHA 31, Monmouth Court, Prospect: Thursday 17th July, 5.00pm to 7.00pm
Harworth
Harworth and Bircotes Town Hall: Thursday 10th July, 10.00am to 11.30am. This will be held during the weekly Coffee Morning.

Cycle Security Marking
Bassetlaw Neighbourhood Policing Team are pleased to be once again offering members of the public the opportunity to have their bicycles security marked for free.
In 2024, they held six events across Bassetlaw where they marked more than 120 bikes and registered them on to the National Bike Register Database.
BikeRegister is recognised as the National Cycle Database and is used by all UK Police Forces to search for stolen and recovered bikes.
Members of the public will be able to have their bikes marked with a unique code for free and registered onto the database, making it easier for the police to reunite stolen bikes with their owners. Marking bicycles can also act as a deterrent for thieves as the bike is permanently marked, making it less desirable to steal and harder to sell on.
Two tamper proof stickers are attached to the bicycle’s frame, and the make, model and other details of the bike are recorded, along with the details of the owner, onto the database
All pedal cycles and electrically assisted e-bikes are eligible for registration on BikeRegister.
