The June meeting of the Bassetlaw branch of Parkinson’s UK will take place at Worksop Cricket Club on Tuesday 3rd June at 2.00pm, when the Branch will welcome Professor Roger Barker, who will report on the latest stem cell research and treatments. The afternoon is open to anyone living with Parkinson’s disease, along with their family and friends, to go along and learn more about the project and the many benefits the Branch has to offer. A warm and friendly welcome awaits all attendees.
The seated exercise group continues each Thursday afternoon, while indoor bowling, walking football, and Singing for Wellbeing remain extremely popular.
Tea and cakes will be enjoyed at the Aurora Centre on Monday 10th June, during a group discussion titled My Parkinson’s Journey.
The meeting on Tuesday 1st July will feature the welcome return of Fools Gold, a popular husband-and-wife musical duo.
