Organisers of Worksop’s Got Talent are searching for talented local stars to perform in front of a 700-strong audience and an all-star celebrity judging panel on Friday 31st October.
There are no age restrictions for taking part and all aspiring finalists should email worksopsgottalent@outlook.com to request an application form. Applicants will then be invited to an audition on Sunday 31st August 2025.
Since its launch in 2016, Worksop’s Got Talent has raised over £165,000 for the national sight loss charity, Retina UK. The event has also won nine awards, been staged eight times (with 700 guests each year), and earned the event organiser invitations to Buckingham Palace and the House of Commons. Celebrity judges return year after year and this year’s line-up is expected to be the strongest yet, with more announcements to come.
Previous contestants have gone on to perform at high-profile corporate events, appear on viral videos with millions of views, and feature on national television programmes including The Voice UK.
Event organiser James Clarke said: “Worksop’s Got Talent is returning with an almighty bang this year as auditions are coming soon! In addition to celebrity judges, the event will also feature appearances from high-profile names. In previous years these have included Boris Johnson, Piers Morgan and James Corden, with more expected to join for the final this year.
