Being part of a brass band is like being part of a family – and at Maltby, they take that quite literally. There are mums and sons, dads and daughters, mums and daughters, and even whole families who go along on Saturday mornings to learn and play together.
The Training Band is flourishing and looking forward to performing at events in Maltby, beginning on Saturday 31st May at Manor Fields. Together with the Senior Band, they will also be playing at St Bart’s Church on Saturday 28th June and at the Sports Ground on Muglet Lane on Saturday 26th July.
After a well-earned summer break, the Training Band will resume sessions at the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall on Saturday 30th August. New learners will be very welcome – and if you have a son, daughter, mum or dad who would like to learn, they are encouraged to go along too.
