The Doncaster Spanish Society will be meeting on Thursday 15th May from 7.00pm to 9.00pm for a talk by Dr Becky Ogden of Sheffield University on ‘Complex Legacies and Futures – The Cuban Revolution 1959 – 2029’.
Dr Ogden will discuss the revolution’s enduring impact on Cuban society, politics, and international relations. It promises to be a captivating talk, and will be in English with some Spanish.
Please note that meetings are now held at Doncaster Town Moor Golf Club, Bawtry Road, Belle Vue Way, DN4 5HU.
Parking is available on-site. Drinks can be purchased at the bar, and the society will provide snacks. New members are very welcome. Entry for non-members is £4.00.
