Police beat surgeries provide an opportunity for the local community to meet their Neighbourhood Policing Teams and raise any concerns they may have.
These surgeries are held in community venues, are informal in nature, and give residents a chance to speak to their local team about issues affecting their area, obtain crime prevention advice, and voice any concerns. There is no need to book in advance—residents are welcome to drop in at any time during the hours listed below.
Various surgeries are scheduled across Worksop and West Bassetlaw. The following Beat Surgeries have currently been arranged:
- Carlton in Lindrick, Civic Centre, Thursday 15th May, 5.00pm to 7.00pm
- NCHA 31, Monmouth Court, Prospect, Thursday 15th May, 5.00pm to 7.00pm
- Manton Family Hub, Shrewsbury Road, Tuesday 27th May, 2.00pm to 4.00pm
- Starbucks, St Anne’s Drive, Friday 16th May, 10.00am to 11.00am
- Worksop Town Centre – Market Stall, Wednesday 7th May, 10.00am onwards

Cycle security marking begins Sunday 1st June
The Bassetlaw Neighbourhood Policing Team are once again offering members of the public the opportunity to have their bicycles security marked free of charge.
In 2024, six events were held across Bassetlaw, during which more than 120 bicycles were marked and registered on the National Bike Register Database.
The first event will take place on Sunday 1st June at Asda on Sandy Lane, Worksop. The team will be present from 10.00am to 2.00pm.
