Bookings are now open for Bassetlaw Hospice’s annual fundraising Ladies Lunch at Ye Olde Bell Hotel and Spa, Barnby Moor, taking place on Thursday 22nd May. From 11.30am, guests will have the opportunity to browse and purchase items from a selection of home and lifestyle stalls, offering everything from handbags to cushions.
Lunch will be served at 1.00pm, after which guests can sit back and enjoy a talk by guest speaker Tony Barber on The St Leger. Tony will discuss the mysteries surrounding the origins of this unique race, how it gained iconic status as the final leg of the Triple Crown, and how it became the highlight of the September meeting on Town Moor. He will bring to life the atmosphere, the people and the fashion.
Tickets are priced at £28.00 per person and include complimentary bread and olives, a delicious two-course lunch, and tea or coffee. A menu choice is available and must be booked in advance.
