Worksop and District u3a members were delighted to welcome back David Skillen, who returned to speak about The Bentley Boys.
In 1919, Walter Owen Bentley built his first motor car, marking the beginning of one of the most charismatic marques in motor racing. The talk explored how the Bentley Boys came to dominate racing at Le Mans, illustrated with photographs of the men and their magnificent machines.
The next meeting will be on Thursday 17th April, when members will be amazed and amused by professional magician Bernie Pedley.
The meeting will be held at the Civic Centre, Carlton in Lindrick, starting at 2.15pm.
