Wickersley-based artist Pete Thornton-Smith, founder of Random Acrylics, will be returning with his colourful and bespoke collection to Wickersley Library between Monday 2nd June and Friday 13th June.
Since the beginning of the year, Pete has shifted towards national exhibition opportunities and online auction platforms, rather than booking space at local craft fairs. Therefore, this represents a rare opportunity to view his unique style up close.
There will be just one ‘Saturday Starter Workshop’ on Saturday 7th June in the Media Room, from 10.30am till 12.00pm, where participants can learn Pete’s exciting approach to painting. It is important to remember that it’s not about what you see, but how the picture makes you feel.
Numbers are strictly limited, so it is essential to ring the library on 01709 544134 to reserve your free place. Materials will be supplied, and hot and cold drinks are available. Pete is a member of the SAA (Supporting All Artists) and has been inspired by Matthew Palmer, Bill Lupton, and John Connelly over the years.
