The new exhibition Is This Art? in the upstairs gallery at Retford Arts Hub has opened to much acclaim and interest.
This exhibition explores how art can be expressed in many different ways, from the quirky and personal to the downright wacky. Some exhibits are accompanied by an explanation from the artist, offering insight into the thought process behind their work.
The exhibition runs until Friday 14th March and is a must-see for anyone interested in art and keen to experience something different and thought-provoking.
Meanwhile, the team of volunteers recently enjoyed a belated Christmas fuddle at the Hub. It was a fun and sociable occasion, and will certainly be repeated, providing a great opportunity to meet everyone and put names to faces within the team.
With 2025 marking the Hub’s tenth anniversary year, there will be plenty of events taking place. Anyone with a passion for the arts and a desire to support local artists and makers is warmly invited to get involved.
