Some volunteers served hot drinks and ‘Auntie Mary’s Soups’ to visitors at the Friends of Milton Mausoleum’s Christmas Gift and Craft Fayre on Saturday 9th November, which was once again very well attended. Favourite stalls and new additions offered a fabulous selection of goods for sale. Many visitors also took the opportunity to tour the Monument Room, learning about the statue of Lady Georgiana and hearing a brief history of this historic building. The committee extends its heartfelt thanks to all visitors, supporters, and volunteers for making the day a success.

Carols by Candlelight on Saturday 7th December marked the final event of what has been a very busy year. This popular event was fully booked and attendees enjoyed complimentary mulled wine and mince pies while being entertained by The Four Players, with traditional audience participation included.

The committee wishes to thank everyone who has supported the events throughout the year. Such generosity contributes to the preservation of this historic building and helps share the story of its links to Clumber Park.

The Friends of Milton Mausoleum offer best wishes for a happy 2025.
