Happy New Year! Tickhill Parish Room Management Committee would like to thank everyone who came through their doors (one way or another) for their help and support over the last year. Another year has galloped by and they are on the starting blocks for 2025.
Once the festivities are over, and we can breathe, many of us will be thinking about losing weight, getting fitter, starting something new, improving our diet, etc, etc. The Parish Room can help with most of those things. In no particular order this is what they have to offer – ukulele, WI, French evenings, yoga, chair yoga (two different things!), crafts, ACCORD, Italian evenings, Baby Bunnies, Carol’s Bags (and more) stall on the third Saturday of the month, Tradecraft on the second Saturday of the month and a regular coffee morning every Saturday.
2024 was a very busy year in the Parish Room, with a wide variety of different bookings. Many birthday parties (some surprise and some not) and celebrations, lots of fundraising events, a visit from their local MP, Grief Café, candle making, a Yoga Retreat, with lots of chatting to old friends and new! Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve were booked. (Book early for next year!)
In the New Year they have the Chair Yoga class starting back (Tuesday 14th January, 10.00am to– 11.00am), a Sugar Craft class also starting on the 14th from 1.00pm to 3.00pm and Burns Night on 17th January (this event is sold out).
Their amazing building can fit 60 seated theatre style and 36 at tables; they have enough crockery, cutlery, chairs, etc for 60 people and a fully equipped, modern kitchen. For further details about booking for your event, please ring Janice on 07840 419763.
